BOTR026 - LOOKS REALISTIC :: “VA/A” C59
Massachusetts duo Looks Realistic zen out quantum fabric for nearly sixty minutes on “VA/A”, an utterly unique set of geometrically jilting ear candies. Chock-full of colliding field recordings, old analog gear, cassette sample collage and modular work, the non-visible spectrum altogether congeals to reveal subtly surfed up otherworldly atmospheres and hued up saturated overtones. “VA/A” glides and glistens from start to fin.

BOTR025 - SUSAN BALMAR :: “Signum” C30
Brighton, UK based multidisciplinary artist Susan Balmar paints a slew of fucked up entities in a vacuum of thirty minutes time and feeds them to you via aural Xerox machine. Palpable aerial presence and subversive alien vantage points largely dominate the sparking and synapsing landscape of Signum. Initial orders of the album come with an ultra limited hand drawn j-card art by the artist.

BOTR023 - PALM HIGHWAY CHASE :: “Fantasy Recordings” C45
Palm Highway Chase melts the ice and snow with the warmness of tropical island sunshine. Our driver puts the pedal to the metal for forty-plus minutes through pitch black nightscapades and cotton candied sunsets while you ride shotgun. BOTR019 - HEADBOGGLE & VIBRATING GARBAGE C23
Headboggle & Vibrating Garbage is a resultant fruit of rehearsals in preparation for a 2012 one-off collaborative performance between Bay Area sound artists Derek Gedalecia and Greg Garbage. On this recording we see Headboggle synthesizing Ciat-Lonbarde/ Blippoo and Greg Garbage on MFB/ 606 in addition to largely taking on the role of producer. Side I paves a contorting and writhing visceral slab of sound and the flip-side finds the machines spewing even more disassociating acoustic narcosis. Highly recommended.
